Coca-Cola has launched two new festive flavours for the Christmas period.
The first is Cinnamon Coke, which has been launched in a zero-sugar version in the UK previously, but is brand-new to the US.
The second is a Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite – which sounds delicious.
Coca-Cola has confirmed that the two new festive flavors will be available from September 30 until December 31.
Candyhunting’s Instagram Page said: “Confirmed! Cinnamon Coca-Cola will be out this winter in the US! This flavor debuted as a Zero Coke variant in the UK last winter. And a fun fact: Cola is a mix between citrus and brown spice flavors. Coca-Cola leans more toward the spice side and Pepsi leans more toward citrus. Adding extra cinnamon flavor will kick up that brown spice an extra notch.”
The comments section went a bit crazy over the announcement. One person wrote: “I’ll try this. I hated the cinnamon Pepsi though. It was awful in my opinion.”
Another added: “wow!! interesting! seems like an awesome christmas cola! def will try!”
While a third said: “Oh now I really like the sound of this! Fireball cinnamon coke cocktails!”
However, the most interesting comment was this: “Speaking of Cinnamon, that’s a new flavor coming to Dunkin Donuts soon as well as the return of pumpkin spice”.
Yup, believe it or not this is true. It’s called the Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Signature Latte. Apparently it’s available hot or iced, and the syrup is pumpkin and cinnamon-flavored, topped with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and a dusting of cinnamon sugar.
There seems to be a whole range of food and drink available with the new fall menu from Dunkin‘. Maybe this is the start of a cinnamon revolution? Either way, winter menus are always the best of the year. So there’s so much to look forward to!
