Details And Release Date For Marvel’s Infinity Saga Box Set Revealed

This a Thanos-sized addition to your collection

Infinity Saga Collection

You’d better ‘snap’ to it — Disney has finally revealed what’s to come in its supersized “Infinity Saga” box set. With Jon Favreau kicking off the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron Man back in 2008, the Infinity Saga celebrates the franchise’s first 23 movies that culminated in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

MCU box sets are nothing new, but this is the first time the whole collection has been brought together. As well including fan-favourites like the four Avengers movies, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor: Ragnarok, this also means Louis Leterrier’s maligned The Incredible Hulk is getting a remaster.

Hulk-busting its way into our lives on November 15, the Infinity Saga box set will be available in all its 4K Blu-ray glory. However, you’d better start saving now, the collection comes with an eye-watering price tag of $549.99.

Popping up on the Best Buy site, the Infinity Saga is available to pre-order. While you could probably buy your own solid gold Infinity Gauntlet (and a few Infinity Stones) for that price, at least the set is jam-packed with extra features.

As Best Buy confirms, the Infinity Saga contains a whole host of one-offs. Alongside a letter from Kevin Feige, there’s artwork from Matt Ferguson, some fancy packaging, and apparently never seen before deleted scenes/interviews.

It all sounds like a pretty great artefact to stick on your shelves, but as Best Buy reminds you, it works out at an average of $45.84 a month. Considering every MCU movie is about to find itself on Disney+ (for just $6.99 a month), the Infinity Saga is presumably aimed at hardcore fans or those who want to sell the set on for a tidy profit.

Considering every box set is a numbered limited edition, there won’t be many around. Also, it currently looks like the Infinity Saga is only coming to Best Buy.

You should probably also remember that the Infinity Saga is just the first chapter of the MCU. Despite rounding off with Far From Home, we all know MCU overlord Kevin Feige has already planned an impressive Phase 4 featuring the likes of Black Widow, The Eternals, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Here’s betting that you’ll have to shell out for another box set bonanza in the next 10 years. Will you be parting with your hard-earned cash to sit down for a movie marathon with the Infinity Saga?
