Did A Car Company Just Confirm A Major Avengers: Endgame spoiler?

This is becoming a regular thing.

We’re counting down the days until we finally get to witness how Avengers: Endgame plays out, especially given the uncertainty left by Infinity War.

Marvel on the whole are pretty damn good at keeping any major spoilers under wraps. Sure they know how to tease us but they very rarely give anything away.

Even in the official Endgame trailer, the studio recently confirmed that all the footage is taken from only the first 15 minutes of the movie.

Despite all that, it seems a new spoiler may have surfaced from a very unlikely source. An Audi virtual reality experience.

It all relates to Tony Stark’s unfortunate situation shown in the Endgame trailer – we see Stark floating hopelessly in outer space, recording a goodbye message and seemingly accepting that he isn’t going to make it out alive.

Obviously we’ve all pretty much assumed that Stark will in fact make it out alive, as we imagine Iron Man is going to have a pretty big part to play in the big showdown with Thanos. But that’s never been confirmed by Marvel.

Audi’s new VR experience is called ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Rocket’s Rescue Run’. Which seems way too specific to simply be a coincidence.

Obviously the title has led people to believe Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Rocket will be the one to break Stark out of his space tomb.

This isn’t the first time Audi has revealed a potential spoiler for the film.

A four minute clip capturing Robert Downey Jr talking about a brand new Audi appeared online the very same day as the Endgame trailer. Obviously Audi is Tony Stark’s car of choice in the Marvel films, so there’s a bit of history there.

Towards the end of the clip, around the 3:40 mark, when Downey Jr is given the chance to test drive the new car, his Audi pal points out that this isn’t the first time he’s taken the wheel of the vehicle.

To which the actor replies that he only did that as Tony Stark in Avengers 4, which comes out in spring 2019.

It’s hard to imagine that Marvel would let Audi get away with dropping these not-so-subtle hints. Especially given the timing of that first Audi clip, it seems the studio is giving us these indications of Stark’s fate intentionally.
