Iceland Is Selling Hash Brown Fries And We Couldn’t Be Happier

This is not a drill.

It’s hard to argue against the point that potato-based snacks are the best kind of snacks, now Iceland has added reinforcement to that point.

The supermarket has stepped into the future and has combined two of the strongest treats out there – french fries and hash browns.

Iceland’s website describes the supermarket’s creation as: Formed, shredded and seasoned potato with onion pre-fried in rapeseed oil.”

The hash brown fries come in 700g bags for just £1.85 – which is pretty darn generous.

Despite only just being released, the reviews have been glowing. The fries currently have an impressive 4.9 stars out of five with customers singing their praises.

One satisfied punter wrote: “These are amazing, I love hash browns. I wasn’t sure what to expect but they were so tasty. Done in the oven in 20 mins. You don’t need a lot as they are quite filling compared to normal chips.”

While another said: “I had these for the 1st time tonight. They are a good idea, they are filling so cook a smaller portion. Never heard of them before, so glad I tried them. Nice one Iceland :)”

People have been singing Iceland’s praises on Twitter too.
