While he was once known for his crazy stunts on Jackass, Bam Margera is now making a name for himself with his angry Instagram rants. This time, the 39-year-old has his fans and family worried thanks to an erratic social media presence over the past week.
Margera was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight just days ago and has now appealed to Dr. Phil for help. On August 4, the reality TV star posted on his Instagram story and said, “Dr. Phil I need your help in a big, big way.”
Margera then proceeded to lash out at wife Nicole Boyd and mother April Margera. Questioning what would happen to his 18-month-old son (Phoenix Wolf) if he split with Boyd. Margera continued: ”He’s the best – I love him to death, and Nikki knows that. And if we separate, I know she’s going to use him as bait, and I ain’t playing that f***ing game, so you can have him.”
Continuing to blast the mother of his child, Margera added: “Everything she says is negative, and she always cuts people off and never lets them finish.
”She’s already ready to say what she’s gonna say, before you’re done, that means she’s not listening – ever.
”She invented a time machine, because we go nowhere so f***ing fast, that it drives me crazy, and we can do this s**t for hours.”
As for his mum, Margera didn’t hold back and said she showed “no emotion” during an incident where he nearly died.
Commenting on the Southwest Airlines incident, Margera claims he joked with staff that he’d drank 50 shots of tequila. Sharing his thoughts online, he raged: ”What are you, a f***ing moron? Do you think anybody could do 50 shots of tequila? You are out of your God damn mind.”
Earlier this year, Margera’s Jackass co-stars were worried for his life when he posted a similarly bizarre rant on social media. Checking himself out of rehab after just 10 days, Margera posted a lengthy handwritten note on Instagram for his 1.8 million followers to read. Highlighting his troubled past, he explained why he was checking out.
In one post, Margera wrote, “Well in rehab I am bored 50 percent of the time so that’s when I figured out that when boredom sets in and alcohol is off limits, that’s when I get creative as f***, an explosion of good ideas, exercise, skate, workout, yoga, hike, bike way more. Because I don’t like to sit stagnant! (UNLESS I AM DRUNK).”
After Bam’s latest outburst, fellow Jackass alumni Chris Pontius assured fans that they are trying to help Bam but are struggling to get through to him:
Pontius said: “To Everybody asking the Jackass Guys to help Bam, We are trying and have been, but no matter how loudly help screams his name.
”It’s up him to want to be better and not somebody who publicly degrades their Wife and Mother and takes accountability for it. (sic)”.
Bam has continued to spiral following the tragic death of best friend Ryan Dunn in 2011. We hope he gets the help he needs.
