JLS have been missing from our lives for seven years, but now they’re officially back together, and have announced a huge UK tour.
Named the Beat Again tour, the band will be back together and playing shows across the country this Winter.
The band first formed 10 years ago, and we can’t wait to see them return.
The band shot to fame after competing on The X Factor and despite coming in second place to Alexandra Burke have been one of the stand out success stories of the show.
From JB to his band mates Ortise Williams, Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes, it made stars out of the four singers.
JLS told Capital FM:
“We are so excited to be working together as a group again.
“We’ve always been like family, and now we feel that this is the right time for us to get back on stage and perform in front of our loyal fans.”
They also promised that it would be a great show despite the time difference:
“Even though it’s been seven years, you can be sure that it’s going to be as high energy as ever.”
Just a few months ago rumours began to circulate regarding a comeback tour for the stars.
Back in November we covered how a source leaked that a reunion was being discussed.
The time is finally right for a comeback, now that everyone has had the chance to do try out other things and fulfil some personal goals.
“They have stayed really good mates and always loved being on stage together. Now feels like the right time.
“They have the best memories from their JLS days and are chomping at the bit to give something back to their fans.
“Details are being finalised, but it’s all looking really hopeful and positive. Currently there are just plans for shows and maybe a few new tracks.”
“But it if it really takes off for them it could fully relaunch the band.”
We cannot wait.
