Khloe Kardashian Angrily Slammed By Fans Over ‘Ignorant 9/11 Tweet’

“How tone deaf are you and your family.”

Khloe Kardashian has been slammed by fans after tweeting that she was ‘proud to be Armenian’ on the day that coincided with the anniversary of 9/11.

Fans lashed out at the star, saying that it was a bit tone deaf of her to be promoting another country on ‘the day where she should be most proud of being an American citizen.’

One fan wrote: “’I’m glad but can you be a little more sensitive to the fact that it’s 9/11? How tone deaf are you and your family. First Kylie complains about how hard it is to be rich and now this.”

Another commented: “365 days on your calendar and you chose today to say something like this..hmm.”

Angry trolls also lashed out at the reality star, bringing up the alleged rumour that Robert Kardashian wasn’t ‘really’ her father and that she ‘isn’t even Armenian anyway’. Pretty harsh to be honest, and no need.

However, some fans noted that Khloe had posted the tweet on September 12th, which meant that due to time zones she hadn’t actually posted the tweet on the same day as the Twin Tower’s memorial, and argued her case to the angrier fans.

One hit back, saying: “Armenians almost faced extinction in 1915! We were almost wiped off the face of the earth forever! Being Armenian is something to be proud of no matter what day of the year.”
