So we all know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming this year – however it seems that Rockstar isn’t quite done as it’s also planning a sequel to Bully.
Yes, the school-version of GTA (that was released all the way back in 2006) has always has a special place in our hearts. We played as James “Jimmy” Hopkins, a student who is involuntarily enrolled at Bullworth Academy. He discovers that the school is filled with bullies, and becomes determined to bring peace, ultimately becoming more respected among the town groups.
We’ve been waiting with baited breath for a sequel, however it seemed as though Rockstar were never going to give us the goods. That is, until now.
Writing on the GTA Forums page, a Rockstar ‘Insider’ wrote: “Bully 2 is indeed in development and is supposed to be the next game after RDR2.”
Another member then added that it looks as though it will be released in Spring 2019 for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
They added: “It’s no secret that they have been working on it at several points till now but shelved it in between to focus on Max Payne 3 and probably shelved it a second time to help out with GTA V.
“I heard from a source close to R* that they have a working prototype for Bully 2, however it’s unknown on which engine it runs.”
Concept art has been released in the past, however Rockstar has not commented on any of the so-called ‘leaks’

In 2011, Rockstar executive Dan Houser spoke out about the sequel, saying that they were waiting for the ‘excitement or disappointment and everything else of the experience’ to settle down. Well, it’s been 12 years – looks like that time has finally arrived.
