Lucifer Season 5 First Look Shows Off Thrilling Conclusion

The Big G is here.

Lucifer has had a difficult ride over the years, after a cancellation at Fox after three years, it was picked up by Netflix for the fourth and fifth seasons.

Now we’re on our way round to the fifth and final season and we’ve gotten a sneak peak at the first look of the program.

Dennis Haysbert, who is set to play God in the show took a sneaky selfie with his cast members Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel) to show off the behind the scenes filming vibe.

Haysbert’s casting was recently announced as God for season 5 of the show – and he’s set to have some serious struggles with the fallen angel Lucifer.

The show has teased the appearance of God ever since series one – with fans heavily anticipating the reunion of God with his sons Lucifer and Amenadiel.

It’s confirmed that God will be a main character in the final season of Lucifer – and seen as they have to wrap up four seasons worth of plot in the next 16 episodes, they’ve got plenty of grounds to cover.

When it was confirmed that the show was saved, show runners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich were ecstatic.

“We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms,” they said,

“Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come.”

It hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, but should hit Netflix this year.
