Miley Cyrus is ‘On a Roll’ as the 26-year-old confirms she’s still sexually attracted to women. Although Cyrus’ marriage to the dishy Liam Hemsworth makes them one of Hollywood’s hottest couples, Miley is still proudly flying the flag for her sexuality.
The “Party in the USA” singer married Hemsworth last year, but now, she’s opening up about their love life in a candid new interview. It’s no secret that Cyrus identifies as Queer — something that she’s more than happy to talk about.
Speaking to Elle, Cyrus confirmed, “I still am very sexually attracted to women.” She explained: “People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still f***ing good, and I know that. I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.”
Talking about what it’s like being Mrs. Hemsworth, Cyrus added, “I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique.”
Discussing what it’s like to be a powerful pop princess, Cyrus said it breaks the female stereotype. “We’re expected to keep the planet populated,” she confessed.
“And when that isn’t a part of our plan or our purpose, there is so much judgment and anger that they try to make and change laws to force it upon you – even if you become pregnant in a violent situation…
“If you don’t want children, people feel sorry for you, like you’re a cold, heartless b***h who’s not capable of love. Why are we trained that love means putting yourself second and those you love first? If you love yourself, then what? You come first.”
Elsewhere, Cyrus was recently dragged for ‘promoting obesity’ in her latest single. Fandom is divided over Cyrus’ latest post on Instagram to promote her new music video. 22-year-old Pamela Umeh from Ireland reshared a post of actor Angelina Duplisea in Cyrus’ latest video and said that obesity shouldn’t be “accepted or praised.”
It was all part of Cyrus featuring Duplisea in the video for “Mother’s Daughter” — off her new EP, She Is Coming. Umeh wrote, “Don’t care how I’m viewed but someone has to say it.
“This is not healthy, this is obesity that leads to health problems and shouldn’t be praised or accepted because society has become so sensitive to everything.”
Nobody & I mean NOBODY is saying that it’s the epitome of health. Just that even people living with obesity exist & are allowed to exist lmfao. Y’all annoying. pic.twitter.com/J0KumGsZTa— jetsu (@Hoekagayeee) July 9, 2019
Ok it’s unhealthy, but does that mean they shouldn’t be represented in the media?— Praise (@praisecookies) July 7, 2019
*sigh* here we go again. showing fat bodies is not praise of obesity & related health problems. it’s inclusivity. its representation. it’s helping other people who look like her love themselves as they are and not be pressured into skinniness. fat people shouldn’t be excluded +— JJ✨ (@JusticeTierney) July 7, 2019
The fat phobia showed here. Please don’t pretend this was you being concerned with other people and their “health”. You are not a doctor. You are not an expert. YOU are clearly made uncomfortable by a body that does not resemble your own and that’s what’s unhealthy here. Shut up. pic.twitter.com/LxW7YIvmCH— Olivia (@liv_barrantes) July 9, 2019
Do you really care about her health or you just felt you needed to make a comment about her size.— SophiaTheFirst🌷 (@_okochasophia_) July 7, 2019
Umeh’s post was retweeted more than 40,000 times before she deleted it. Unsurprisingly, there was a furious backlash as many branded her fatphobic.
Well, at least Cyrus seems comfortable in her own skin and comfortable in her marriage to Hemsworth. You go girlfriend!
