During Love Island, there were several bust-ups. However, one pair that never seemed to argue were Anton Danyluk and Molly-Mae Hague. It turns out that the pair actually didn’t really speak.
Now, Molly-Mae has opened up to OK! magazine, and hit back at her former-housemate.
She said: “Everyone has seen that I’ve been getting quite a lot of backlash and hate online, so for him to then add fuel to the fire was quite shocking,
“I know Tommy would never do that to Belle [Hassan] if she was in this situation, because he’s not that type of person,
“I think it showed more about him than anyone else. It’s a shame that this has happened. It was unnecessary. I want to be able to support everyone who was on the show. We all did this together”.
In case you missed the drama, at the Love Island Reunion, viewers were shocked to find out that Anton had unfollowed fellow Islander Molly-Mae on Instagram.
It was a very uncomfortable chat, as host Caroline Flack questioned his motive behind unfollowing.
Speaking to Caroline, Anton said: “First and foremost I want to clear this up. A lot of people have said it’s because we were voted by Molly and Tommy. In there we have to make very hard decisions, where you have to vote for your friends,
“It’s nothing to do with that, me and Belle were voted out by the public. I’m sure Molly will agree with this, we never really spoke in the villa, we never even spoke.”
Molly-Mae replied: “I mean, I didn’t think you weren’t a friend of mine, I’m not gonna lie. I thought we were friends.”
Anton replied: “No, no we had the conversation, remember and someone came up to us like, ‘is this a chat, how weird is that?’ – remember? So we never even had chats, there were times when we were in the room together and we never had chats.”
Recently, Anton stirred the pot even more on his own Instagram account. He shared an image on the social media site, asking fans to ‘caption the image’.
One person commented: “Molly-Mae looking for her follow back”, to which Anton replied with a whole load of crying laughing emojis.
Some fans were not happy with this reply, and took to the comments to share their anger at the Scottish star.
One wrote: “molly is in therapy for this kind of online response and you join in? Wooooowwww”, another added: “actually think you’ve become so big headed molly is going through a lot at the moment yet your set to encourage this says it all really your only p*ssed because she pied you let’s face it now [sic]”.
Yikes, looks like Love Island fans are really not happy with him!
