It’s practically summer, and that means just one thing. BBQs. And what’s the best thing about a BBQ? The burger. Or should I say, burgers as one is never quite enough.
However it looks like Morrisons has sorted you right out as they’ve introduced a 1lb burger for just £3. If you want a bun to go with it, their jumbo-sized offering is just 50p.
Just look at the size of this monster…
As you can imagine, the internet is getting pretty excited by the whole thing.
It is of course in aid of Father’s Day, so they will only actually be available on June 17.
This comes after the supermarket introduced a HUGE big daddy breakfast.
Featuring a mouth-watering 19 pieces, it’s definitely not for anyone in search of a light snack.
The best part about the whole thing? It will only set you back by £6.
What does it include?
Vegetarians and those on a diet should probably look away now, the full lineup for Morrisons’ Big Daddy goes as follows:
- Three rashers of British bacon
- Three British port sausages
- Three hash browns
- Two half slices of fried bread
- Two fried eggs
- Two half tomatoes
- Two black puddings
- Baked beans
- Sliced mushrooms
Helen Tordoff from Morrisons said: ”Our standard cooked breakfast is one of our most popular meals on the menu, but customers have asked for one that’s even bigger.
“The ”Big Daddy Breakfast” is an excellent choice for customers with a big appetite.”
The jumbo brekky will be available from May 28 and served in Morrisons in-store cafés.
To give a little perspective on what other supermarket breakfasts offer up, Sainsbury’s own “big breakfast” will set you back £4.50 but only serves up nine items.
Asda also have a nine piece option for the same cost, along with a six-piece plate for £3.25.
