Nando’s is bringing out a brand-new burger – but sadly it’s only available this weekend.
The Chakalaka Burger is available exclusively at the Nando’s Feast Your Eyes popup gallery in Notting Hill between 13 July to 15 July.
Anyone fancy a trip to London?
According to Metro, the popup gallery has been created show the incredible original South African art by Asanda Kupa, Audrey Anderson, Diana Hyslop, Emma Williams and Sebastian Borckhenhagen. Each artist currently has pieces of their work on the walls of Nando’s restaurants across the UK.
The burger has a ‘Nando’s twist’ on a South African relish – a spicy sauce bursting with carrots, mixed peppers and onions. It also has a Nando’s PERi-PERi chicken fillet, cheddar cheese and smokey Churrasco PERinaise, served on a Portuguese roll.
The chain has only recently introduced a brand new burger that is going to be on sale for the whole of summer.
The ‘Fresco Burger’ is available from 5th June – 3rd September. Nando’s said: “Teaming with greens the Fresco Burger is the perfect PERi-PERi compliment to the summer months.
“Sunshine in a bite – Nando’s Fresco Burger is a tall and generous build of vibrant tasting ingredients, made up of a concoction of Nando’s famous PERi-PERi chicken fillet, tangy pickled cucumber, peppery rocket, and fan favourite crushed avocado – all sandwiched into Nando’s renowned Portuguese roll.
“Available both in restaurant, and for Nando’s takeaway and delivery, Nando’s Fresco Burger is the perfect solution for those who want to enjoy the sunshine but don’t want to miss out on their PERi-PERi fix.”
Once you’ve made the sale, stop selling. I’m already half-way out the door and down the road to my closest restaurant, to be honest.
Nando’s Fresco Burger will be available from Tuesday 5th June for 12 weeks, and is priced at £7.95. For further details, visit: https://www.nandos.co.uk/
Recently, Nando’s released Halloumi Fries and everyone lost their minds for a while. You couldn’t buy them anywhere as they were all sold out. Luckily for us, they seem to have restocked as they’re now a permanent fixture on the menu. Amazing.
Technically, they’re halloumi sticks as they’re grilled, not fried. But we’re not into semantics. You get five of them and they come with a side of sticky, sweet chilli jam. The price? A mere £3.70. You really can’t put a price on happiness, so this is great news. You can eat them as a starter, or even chuck those bad boys onto your burger. We won’t judge you. Cheese is delicious and should be included on every single meal, in my humble opinion.
