Chuckle Brothers star Paul Chuckle has officially been diagnosed with Coronavirus, we have learned.
The 72-year-old has given a warning to the British public to follow the health guidelines and stay indoors unless necessary.
He explained how he was feeling in a heartfelt video posted to his Twitter account.
He says “hi guys, just checking in to let you know I’m still around. I have been laid up with COVID-19 for a good few days. Just mild, but it is there and it’s not nice I can assure you. So please, please stay inside. We’re all going stir crazy we know that, but please stay inside and take the pressure off the NHS, Marie Curie etcetera. Please. stay in guys and enjoy it as best you can.”
He quickly received a huge outpouring of support online from stars and fans alike.

Paul’s Chuckle Brothers partner, Barry Chuckle tragically died in 2018. Paul has been keeping busy since, appearing in Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back among other TV shows.
