There’s A Harry Potter-Inspired Bar In Dublin And It Looks SO Magical

‘Brew’ gotta be kidding me?

The Cauldron Pub

Wizards unite, there’s a Harry Potter bar now open in Dublin that will have you hopping on your broomstick to the Emerald Isle. You can check into your very own Leaky Cauldron and bask in the glory of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world.

Harry Potter-themed bars and experiences are nothing new, but the latest one to open its doors in Dublin could be one of the best yet. Located in the city’s Liquor Rooms in Temple Bar, The Cauldron is a must-visit attraction for Potterheads.

The Cauldron has already won over fans in the likes of London and New York, but now, the authentic Harry Potter experience is setting up shop in Dublin. Described as a 1hr 45 “immersive experience”, muggles are tasked with their own delicious potions class.

The site explains how you will “wield a working magic wand and use molecular mixology to brew drinkable elixirs”.

A description continues: “After donning a robe and receiving a magic wand, you are led to an interactive work station where you learn spellcasting 101 by pouring a welcome drink of either beer, cocktail, or mocktail.

“You then follow instructions to brew two of our molecular potions that change colour, bubble, and smoke”, organisers added.

Priced at €29.99 per person, the tickets include a welcome drink, two molecular cocktails, and the full HP experience. If you still aren’t sold, check out some pretty ‘magical’ pictures on The Cauldron’s Instagram.

Elsewhere, a pair of Potter potty parents are looking to pay someone to teach their kid everything Rowling. If you’re looking to make a bit of extra money and like to dress up as Professor Snape, then boy, have we got the job for you.

Parents Kate and John are looking for a new tutor for their 11-year-old son who is struggling with science topics. Here’s where it gets interesting though.

The parents don’t want just any old tutor, no instead they want someone who loves Harry Potter just as much as their son. Kate and John are looking for someone to bring props to lessons and dress up as Snape to inspire while teaching – and they’re paying a more-than-impressive £75 an hour for the right person.

The advert is currently live on online tutoring agency, Tutor House.

“Me and my husband are looking for a science tutor for our 11-year-old boy [sic], with quite an unusual twist,” Katie and John wrote in an email to the agency.

“He is struggling with his science lessons and we are looking for someone to help him outside of school, but we want to make it as fun and engaging as possible for him.

“Toby is a massive Harry Potter fan, so we are looking for someone to create Harry Potter themed lessons for him. We want someone who can teach him for an hour a week (preferably Tuesday or Thursday evenings), who will put 100% efforts into the lessons, basically transforming our kitchen into Hogwarts!”

Ok guys, sign me up. I’ll get me cloak!
