Have you ever dreamed about going on holiday to Disney World Florida? I know I have. How about getting paid to stay there? That’s dream, surely.
Well, when you wish upon a star – your dreams can come true.
Disney World is currently recruiting for Cultural Representatives in the park’s international programme. So basically, you just need to be from the United Kingdom as that’s where they’re currently recruiting for.
You also need to:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Hold a valid passport for the United Kingdom
- Be available for a full 12-month contract
- Speak fluent conversational English
- Have no visible tattoos – face, wrist and hand tattoos are not permitted
In addition to this, the following experience is highly sought after:
- Extensive previous work experience in either the Food and Beverage or Retail industry
You’ll be working in either food or beverage, or merchandise and kidcot at the United Kingdom Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot in Orlando, Florida.
The job is offering an hourly wage of $10 at 32 hours per week, but if you start working a tipped role in food and drinks, your hourly pay packet will decrease.
You’ll be living and working in the Orlando resort for a year on a Q-1 Cultural Representative Visa, and you also get to travel for an extra 30 days after your year work.
You also get put up in one of Disney’s working complexes which have fitness centres, transportation systems, swimming pools and computer labs. Incredible.
You will either get a one, two, three or four-bed pad to share with others, and you’ll also be sharing your room with up to two people. Sounds like a proper American college, doesn’t it?
Applications are now open, but close on 5th August this year. If you’re successful, you go on to interview at Yummy Jobs Team in Essex.
